Stefanie Correale OIG Si ee eee ee reer reece cece eee eee From: Jan Klier <jan@allklier.com> Sent: Monday, April 22, 2024 3:19 PM To: Stefanie Correale Subject: Re: Additional Comments to the 8/11 ZBOA Public Hearing Hi Stefanie, Unfortunately, I’ll have one more to add to the record. The last three days a gray car was parked in front of Young Ave 35 (our neighbor). The driver walked off and entered 375 Riverside Avenue. The car has a student parking permit from the Culinary Institute in Poughkeepsie, and it arrived at 7am and 6am respectively consistent with a morning shift at the bakery and was there for several hours each time. | haven’t had a chance yet to ask Susan personally if this is one of her employees, and it’s in the realm of possibility that the driver visited someone else in the building, and that the rest is just a coincidence. Regardless though it shows that there’s a pattern of people from 375 Riverside using Young Ave as their parking lot, and it’s bothersome as it changes the character of this otherwise quiet street from the way it used to be. And if it was in fact one of her employees, it would further put in question the statement that most people working there take public transit or use designated employee parking spots. The 2hr residential parking permit restriction if more consistently applied across the whole area would easily solve this as well. | do have two photos | can make available if desired.
