On motion of TRUSTEE MURTAUGH seconded by TRUSTEE SIMON, the
following resolution was adopted unanimously by the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York; with a 5-0 vote.
Resolution # 90-2024
WHEREAS on March 15, 2021, the Village Board of Trustees approved the renewal
of a special permit for the operation of a smoke shop at 50 Maple Street, and
WHEREAS this special permit is set to expire July 23, 2024, and must be renewed in
accordance with the Zoning Chapter of the Village Code, and
WHEREAS Ibrahim Jamal, the owner of Smoke Town Discount, has submitted a
special permit renewal application with the appropriate fee, and
WHEREAS renewal of the special permit does not require an environmental review,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Board of Trustees hereby
refers the renewal of the special permit application for a smoke shop located at 50 Maple
Street to the Planning Board for a recommendation back to the Village Board of
Trustees as required by law.
