MEMO OF ACTIONS AT VEB MEETING OF 05/14 (ZOOM)
Meeting started at 7:00 PM and ended at 8:15 PM
VEB Members in attendance were:
Jon Karpoff, chair; Jari Rouas; Jennifer Delasosa; Matt Berger
Dan O’Conner, Village Engineer was in attendance
Also attending were representatives of Allure Auto Spa and Croton River Artisans
There being four VEB Members present, there was a quorum.
1, ALLURE AUTO SPA
a. Endorsed Planning Board decision to deny waiver for “Open” flag sign in curbed
island and requested the Owner to submit possible compliant design
proposal(s) for a portable sign.
b. Unanimously approved the signs on the side of the building and along the
southern property line
2. CROTON RIVER ARTISANS
a. Requested that the typo of a reversed ampersand be corrected.
b. Strongly suggested that they try to maximize the contrast between type and the
background wood color.
c. General sign layout was deemed acceptable.
3. ANNUAL REPORT
a. VEB Members discussed next steps for developing the report.
