On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #135-2024
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has been awarded a grant by the New
York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) under the
Clean Energy Communities (CEC) program; and
WHEREAS, the NYSERDA Clean Energy Communities program provides grants
and recognition to local governments that demonstrate leadership in clean energy
initiatives by completing NYSERDA-selected high-impact actions; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has met the requirements for grant
funding under the Clean Energy Communities program and has been awarded a total
amount of $425,000.00 for the implementation of specified clean energy projects; and
WHEREAS, the agreement between the Village of Croton-on-Hudson and
NYSERDA consists of the following components:
Installation of a 50kW carport solar array at 435 Yorktown Rd., Croton-on-
Hudson, NY 10520;
Installation of a 35kW rooftop solar array at 30 Wayne St., Croton-on-Hudson,
NY 10520;
Installation of a 10kW rooftop solar array at 30 Wayne St., Croton-on-Hudson,
NY 10520;
Implementation of various building upgrades at the aforementioned locations;
WHEREAS, the agreement outlines the terms and conditions, deliverables, and
minimum performance requirements for the awarded grant projects, including
planning and completion phases, submission of deliverables, site inspections, and
milestone payments,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Croton-on-Hudson hereby authorizes the Village Manager to sign the NYSERDA
Agreement Number 231711, with an effective date of June 11, 2024, and an
expiration date of December 31, 2027.
