On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #146-2024 WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has received a special permit application from Sprocket Power of Bedford Hills, New York, proposing the installation of an integrated energy system at Croton Auto Park, located at 1 Municipal Place, comprising of a battery energy storage system with a 280 kWh output; and WHEREAS, a Site Development Plan has been submitted with the application; and WHEREAS, Tier 2 Battery Energy Storage Systems are permitted through the issuance of a special permit by the Village Board of Trustees within the C- 2 zoning district; and WHEREAS, this action is a Type II action under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, which does not require an environmental review, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby refers the special permit application to the Planning Board for a recommendation back to the Village Board of Trustees, AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby directs the Village Clerk to notify the Westchester County Planning Department of this application in accordance with law.
