This funding will play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting the Hudson River Folk Festival, a two-day environmental music event formerly known as the Great Hudson River Revival, which was last held in June 2019. Historically, the festival had a significant positive impact on our village, drawing substantial visitor attendance and generating notable economic benefits for local businesses. With this grant, RiverFest FPS (For Pete’s Sake), Inc. aims to build on the successes of past events, further amplifying its positive effects on the community and expanding its benefits to the broader region. The Hudson River Folk Festival is well-aligned with the goals of advancing regional tourism and showcasing the exceptional attributes of the Hudson Valley.
