On motion of _______________, seconded by __________, the following 
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-
Hudson. 
 
Resolution #156-2024 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has received a special permit 
application and zoning petition in recent weeks for multifamily development in the 
Village; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board is desirous of retaining a third-party consultant to 
review the documentation submitted and assist the Board with the environmental 
review and waterfront consistency review it will undertake; and 
 
WHEREAS, the ability to retain a consultant and require the applicant to reimburse 
the Village for fees incurred is authorized through Chapter 178, Professional Fees, 
of the Village Code; and 
 
WHEREAS, AKRF Inc., of White Plains, New York, has provided a proposal to 
be retained as the Village’s planning consultant for these projects, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby authorizes 
the Village Manager to accept the proposal from AKRF Inc.
