A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Village Manager Healy Trustee Murtaugh Village Attorney Linda Whitehead Trustee Simon Trustee Nicholson The following official was absent: On a motion by Trustee Simon, seconded by Trustee Nicholson, the Village Board voted unanimously to approve the request by Franquin Leon to use a portion of the Croton-Harmon Train Station Parking Lot for a music festival on August 25, 2024, as detailed in the memo from Village Manager Bryan Healy dated July 15, 2024. In addition to Gouveia Park, the following items were discussed at the work session: a presentation on the updated Housing Needs Assessment for Croton-on-Hudson from Westchester County Dept. of Planning, a presentation from Village Historian Marc Cheshire on Revolutionary Westchester 250, a presentation from 1 HMB Property Owner LLC regarding their zoning petition to permit multifamily housing at 1 Half Moon Bay Drive, a review of the May 2024 housing forum and a review of the reservation of parkland regulations in the Zoning Chapter of the Village Code.
