On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #166-2024 WHEREAS, the current Vehicle Use Policy has been reviewed and requires updates to reflect changes in best practices, technology, and Village operations; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village to formally adopt the updated Vehicle Use Policy to provide clear guidance and expectations to all Village employees regarding the use of Village-owned vehicles, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson hereby adopts the updated Vehicle Use Policy effective immediately; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the change specific to the Fire Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer position shall not take effect until October 1, 2024; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to distribute the updated Vehicle Use Policy to all relevant Village employees.
