On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #177-2024 WHEREAS, the Croton Business Council and the Village of Croton-on-Hudson entered into a Memorandum of Understanding dated August 29, 2024, regarding the "Oktoberfest" festival, which is anticipated to attract approximately three thousand (3,000) attendees on Grand Street between Old Post Road S. and Mt. Airy Road; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to address additional considerations, including waiving certain public safety overtime costs and providing the Village’s shuttle bus and driver at no cost to the Croton Business Council; and WHEREAS, the proposed Amendment outlines the revised cost responsibilities and payment terms, including the provision of public safety services and the shuttle bus, and specifies the process for handling additional services if required, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby authorized to sign the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Croton Business Council, as attached hereto.
