To: From: Date: October 7, 2024 Re: Kayak Concession Contract The current contract with Hudson River Recreation (HRR), the kayak concessionaire at Echo Canoe Launch, is set to expire on December 1, 2024. Over the terms of the current agreement, which began in 2021, HRR has proven to be a great partner with the Village. The owner, John Clark, has been very responsive to concerns raised by myself as well as the police department. The presence of the kayak concession at Echo Canoe Launch provides a recreation option for Village residents while also providing revenue to the Village. With the Board’s concurrence, I would like to begin negotiations to renew the agreement for another three-year term. Please let me know if you have any questions.
