On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #206-2024 WHEREAS, on July 5, 2022, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Policy governing the release of public records in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson; and WHEREAS, at that time, the Village Manager was designated as the FOIL Appeals Officer regarding denial of access to records under the Freedom of Information Law; and WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees wishes to serve as the body hearing FOIL appeals moving forward, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby adopts the updated FOIL Policy as attached hereto designating the Village Board as the body determining FOIL appeals.
