On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #212-2024 WHEREAS, a vacancy in the Croton Police Department currently exists for the position of Police Officer; and WHEREAS, Chief of Police John H. Nikitopoulos has interviewed several candidates for the position and recommends the hiring of Paul Twyman for the position of Police Officer, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that Paul Twyman is hereby appointed as a Police Officer in the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department as of November 21, 2024, at an annual salary of $71,876.58, pending the passage of medical exams and approval from the Westchester County Department of Human Resources; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the official start date on payroll for Mr. Twyman shall be determined by the Chief of Police upon completion of the above-stated exams and approvals.
