On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York with a 
- vote. 
 
Resolution #254-2024 
 
WHEREAS, the Business Development Committee (BDC) is the successor of the Village 
Comprehensive Plan Committee, which was first appointed in 1999; and 
 
WHEREAS, the BDC has been charged with working on initiatives within the Village to 
foster economic development; and 
 
WHEREAS, a number of these initiatives have been put into place, such as the 
reformation of the Croton Business Council and the appointment of a new Business and 
Community Liaison in the Village Manager’s office; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Croton Business Council and the liaison position are well-suited to carry 
on the work of the BDC in the future, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
sunsets the Business Development Committee with thanks to all the members of the 
community who have served on this committee and its predecessor committee over the 
past 25 years.
