The Village Board of Trustees is seeking to amend Chapter 116, Environmental Review, of
the Village Code to provide for the listing of additional Type II actions under the State
Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). Adding the adoption of local laws, resolutions
and decisions, that have no significant adverse impact on the environment and that are not
Type I actions as defined under 6 NYCRR 617.4 will allow the Village Board of Trustees to
streamline their process on legislative actions that do not have a significant adverse
impact on the environment.
