On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #86-2025
WHEREAS, one vacancy in the Croton Police Department currently exists for the
position of Police Officer (Spanish Speaking); and
WHEREAS, Chief of Police John H. Nikitopoulos has interviewed several candidates
for the position and recommends the hiring of Osvaldo K. Tovar for the position of
Police Officer (Spanish Speaking),
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that Osvaldo K. Tovar is hereby appointed
as a Police Officer in the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department as of April 25, 2025,
at an annual salary of $71,876.58.
