On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution 
was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, 
with a - vote. 
 
Resolution #91-2025 
 
WHEREAS, the Code of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson requires that property 
owners maintain the sidewalks which abut their property; and 
 
WHEREAS, the maintenance of sidewalks has been a priority of the Village to ensure 
schoolchildren, commuters and other pedestrians have safe ways to get to school, the 
train station and other areas of the Village; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Manager, in consultation with the Village Engineer, has 
drafted the Sidewalk Repair Policy document attached hereto; and 
 
WHEREAS, the purpose of the policy is to provide guidance to property owners and 
contractors to ensure they are in compliance with the Village Code,  
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby adopts 
the attached Sidewalk Repair Policy for the Village of Croton-on-Hudson.
