On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York 
with a - vote. 
 
Resolution #132-2025 
 
WHEREAS, on March 26, 2025, the Village Board of Trustees adopted Local Law 5 
of 2025, which codified the decision to no longer serve as an assessing unit; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Code needs to be updated to reflect this change; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board is considering the adoption of Local Law Introductory 
No. 8 of 2025, which has been drafted for such purposes, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
schedules a Public Hearing to be held on July 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna 
Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider 
the adoption of Local Law Introductory No. 8 of 2025, to amend Chapter 204, 
Taxation, to reflect the Village no longer serving as an assessing unit.
