On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution
was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York,
with a - vote.
Resolution #174-2025
WHEREAS, on July 5, 2022, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a Freedom of
Information Law (FOIL) Policy governing the release of public records in the Village
of Croton-on-Hudson; and
WHEREAS, New York State law has recently changed which requires employees to
be notified when their disciplinary records have been requested through the FOIL
process; and
WHEREAS, the policy has been amended to reflect this change in state law,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby adopts
the updated FOIL Policy as attached hereto.
