On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the 
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of 
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:  
 
Resolution #183-2025 
 
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has discovered a leak within the 
sanitary sewer main on Ridge Road; and  
 
WHEREAS, the Village is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the 
sanitary sewer system; and 
 
WHEREAS, DPW has received an estimate for the relining of the sanitary sewer 
main in the amount of $42,200; and 
 
WHEREAS, General Municipal Law Section 103(4) allows for the Village Board 
to let a contract without public bidding where necessary due to a public emergency 
arising out of an unforeseen occurrence or condition; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Public Works has recommended that the 
Village proceed with this work on an emergency basis, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby declares 
the relining of the sanitary sewer main on Ridge Road to be an emergency; and 
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:  the Village Manager is authorized to accept the 
proposal from Insituform, of Charlton, Massachusetts, in the amount of $42,200 to 
complete this work; and 
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Village Treasurer is authorized to transfer 
$22,200 from G1990.4000 (Contingency) and $20,000 from G8997.2000 (Other 
Services) to G8120.4000.
