On motion of TRUSTEE ________, seconded by TRUSTEE __________, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York with a - vote. Resolution #188-2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF CFA GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE ACTIVATION OF GOUVEIA PARK WHEREAS, to increase the recreation facilities available for use by its residents, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is looking to rehabilitate and restore the existing house to create a multi-purpose recreational community center at Gouveia Park (“Project”); and WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is seeking funding under the “Environmental Protection Fund Grants Program for Parks, Preservation, and Heritage”; and WHEREAS, the cost estimate for the Project is $2.25 million, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson hereby determines the proposed Project, classified as a Type II action in 6 CRR-NY 617.5 (C)(9), will result in no significant environmental impacts and will require no further environmental review in accordance with the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act (Environmental Conservation Law, Article 8) and its implementing regulations; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson hereby authorizes the Village Manager to take all necessary action to submit an application for $675,000 in Environmental Protection Fund Grants Program for Parks, Preservation, and Heritage funds for financing the activation of Gouveia Park project, and, upon the funding of said amount, commits to provide the match of $1.575 million.
