To: From: Date: August 15, 2025 Re: Peace Pole Installation On May 21, 2025, the Village Board authorized the Arts & Humanities Advisory Council to proceed with their proposal to install a Peace Pole along the RiverWalk. The AHAC met with Assistant General Foreman John Bouchard on July 25, 2025, to survey various locations to determine the most feasible site for the installation. The members in attendance at the site walk have recommended that the area where the RiverWalk splits, just south of the foot bridge in Croton Landing Park, is the best site for the Peace Pole. They have also recommended that it be placed on a white brick base to raise it above the high tide level. Mayor Brian Pugh Trustees Nora Moriarty Nicholson Cara Politi Len Simon Maria F.
