On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York 
with the following vote:  
 
Resolution #191-2025 
 
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees recently adopted 
Local Law 10 of 2025 to replace Chapter 208, Trees, of the Village Code; and 
 
WHEREAS, as part of this new legislation, a Tree Preservation Fund was established; 
and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board provided additional guidance at the work session held 
on July 23, 2025, regarding the implementation of this fund; and 
 
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 12 of 2025 has been drafted to reflect these 
conversations, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
schedules a Public Hearing to be held on September 10, 2025, at 7:30 PM in the 
Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building 
to consider the adoption of Local Law Introductory No. 12 of 2025 to update 
provisions of Chapter 208, Trees, of the Village Code related to the Tree Preservation 
Fund.
