On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote. Resolution #198-2025 WHEREAS, the Village has leased the landscaped areas adjacent to the Croton- Harmon Train Station from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority since 1985; and WHEREAS, a number of trees south of the station house need to be removed or trimmed due to disease; and WHEREAS, due to the proximity of the location to the train tracks, MTA is requiring the use of flaggers for the work at a total cost of $2,000; and WHEREAS, this cost was not included in the 2025-2026 General Fund budget, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: the Village Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the following budget transfer in the 2025-2026 General Fund budget: GENERAL FUND EXPENSES Increase: A8560.4000 Shade Trees – Contractual $2,000 Decrease: Contingency - Contractual $2,000 Dated: August 20, 2025
