--- PAGE 1 --- MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CROTON-HARMON UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CIVIL SERVICES EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 1000 AFSCME, AFL-CIO, CROTON-HARMON SCHOOL DISTRICT CUSTODIAL UNIT #9159 WHEREAS, the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District (hereinafter the “District”) and the Civil Service Employees Association, Local 1000 AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Croton-Harmon School District Custodial Unit #9159 (hereinafter the “CSEA”) are parties to a collective bargaining agreement covering the period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2028 (hereinafter “CBA”); and WHEREAS, the District has created one (1) position within the title of Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings); and WHEREAS, the Association and the District wish to accrete the title of “Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings)” into the CSEA bargaining unit; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED, by and between the CSEA and the District as follows: 1. The title of “Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings)” shall accrete into the CSEA bargaining unit upon the full execution of this Agreement and its approval by the Board of Education. 2. Article 2.1 of the CBA is hereby amended to include the title of “Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings)” as follows: 15. Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings) (S477) 3. Effective April 21, 2026, the attached salary lane for the title of “Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings)”, shall be added to the salary schedules set forth on Appendix B of the CBA. 4. Bargaining unit members in the title of “Maintenance Foreperson (Buildings)” shall not be eligible for any of the benefits under Article 22.7 of the CBA (.e., stipend and differentials). -l- --- PAGE 2 --- 5.
