to a collective bargaining agreement covering the period July 1, 20__ to June 30, 20__
(hereinafter “CBA”); and
WHEREAS, Erica Fiorini (Ms. Fiorini’) is the Assistant Principal for the
Croton-Harmon High School (“High School”) and a member of the Association bargaining
unit; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Fiorini has requested, and been granted, a leave of absence from
her probationary Assistant Principal position in order to be appointed the Interim Principal
of the High School; and
WHEREAS, the District has appointed Ms. Fiorini as the Interim Principal of the
High School for the period from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, the parties have entered into discussions regarding Ms. Fiorini
remaining a member of the Association during her appointment as Interim Principal;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED, by and between the

1. The parties agree that Ms. Fiorini shall remain a member of the Association bargaining

2. Upon her return to her Assistant Principal position in the 2027-2028 school year, Ms.
Fiorini’s annual base salary as Assistant Principal shall be increased to the amount that it
would have been had she remained in her Assistant Principal position and not taken a
leave of absence from said position during the 2026-2027 school year (i.e., Ms. Fiorini’s
2025-2026 Assistant Principal salary shall be increased by the salary increases negotiated
between the District and the Association, if any, for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school
years). However, Ms. Fiorini understands and acknowledges that she will not receive any
tenure credit towards her probationary period or seniority credit as an Assistant Principal
for the period of time that she is on the unpaid leave of absence from her Assistant
Principal position during the 2026-2027 school year.
3. Ms. Fiorini understands and agrees that, by appointing her to the position of Interim
Principal of the High School, the District is not appointing her to a probationary
appointment in the position of Principal. Ms. Fiorini further understands and agrees that
she is being appointed to a non-tenure bearing, interim position and hereby waives any
claim that she is entitled to a probationary appointment and/or any tenure credit based
upon her employment as Interim Principal of the High School.
4. The parties agree that neither this Side Letter of Agreement, nor the terms and
conditions set forth herein, shall constitute a precedent with respect to Ms. Fiorini, with
respect to any other bargaining unit members, with respect to salary increases, with
respect to the inclusion of Interim Administrator positions within the Association
bargaining unit and/or for any other purposes whatsoever. The parties further agree that
neither this Side Letter of Agreement, nor the terms and conditions set forth herein, may
