Joseph Pascarelli and Kerri Bianchi Croton Harmon Union Free School District Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 February 27, 2026 Dear Mr. Pascarelli and Ms. Bianchi, The Board of Directors of the Croton-Harmon Education Foundation (CHEF) is pleased to inform you that a position of your grant application for the Math & Movement grant has been approved: Grant Application Amount Requested Amount Approved Math & Movement $9,730 $6,260 The Board appreciated the opportunity to visit CET as the students tried out the mats and your work revising the application. The board voted to fund the $6,260 to purchase the math mats. Upon approval of the Board of Education, CHEF will arrange for the transfer of funds for this grant from CHEF to the District. Therefore, as a next step in the process, we ask that you coordinate with the Superintendent of Schools to submit your application to the Board of Education. As part of our ongoing commitment to the programs we fund, I will work with you as project liaison to answer any questions you may have. Within the first year of the grant’s launch we ask that you participate in the post-grant evaluation process. This means that within this first year you should: ● Verify that the grant funds were spent in accordance with your application. ● Provide CHEF with a brief written testimonial and/or share digital photographs or video clips of you and/or students participating in the proposal that CHEF funded. Whatever you send we will assume that CHEF has the rights to use on our website and other marketing/reporting materials. ● Submit a 1-2 page reflection that summarizes what happened during the first year of the funded proposal’s launch. Please evaluate your success in meeting the objectives you outline in your application; share any happy surprises or challenges that came up; discuss lessons you learned in the process of implementing your proposal. These items can be sent to grants@crotonfoundation.org. Lastly, when mentioning your project during the first year of the grant’s launch, please acknowledge CHEF's role in sponsoring your proposal in publicity and communications to parents and the greater CHUFSD community. Letting the CHUFSD community know what CHEF funded shows how CHEF’s donors are positively impacting our schools and helps us in our fundraising efforts for future projects. Congratulations! We look forward to the success of your proposal. Best Regards, Zivah Perel Katz, Chair, CHEF Allocations Committee cc: Stephen Walker, Superintendent
