Memo from the New York Department of State, dated June 16, 2026, transmitting the application package for project F-2026-0322, in which the state Department of Transportation would replace 13 existing overhead sign structures, including one on US 9 in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, and install new guiderail where current rail is not up to standards. New structures would be built 10 to 15 feet behind the existing ones with foundations 15 to 27 feet deep. The Department of State asks the Village's LWRP coordinator for comments within 30 days, after which it will presume no objections.

F-2026-0322: New York State Department of Transportation -Replace 13 existing
overhead sign structures to ensure their ability to safely carry overhead signs and to
protect the roadway and its users. Install new guiderail in some places where it is not
currently up to standards. The new structures will be designed and constructed to be 10 to
15 feet behind the existing structures in the direction of travel. Some excavation is
required. The new structures will have 15 to 27 feet deep foundations on spread footings,
and shaft foundations with a diameter of 3.5 to 4 feet that are drilled, Reference marker:
