Memo from the New York Department of State, dated June 16, 2026, transmitting for preliminary review the application package for project F-2026-0322, in which NYSDOT would replace 13 existing overhead sign structures, including one on US 9 in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, and install new guiderail where existing rail is below standards. The memo asks the Village LWRP coordinator to respond within 30 days, after which the Department will presume no objections to the proposed project.

Install new guiderail in some places where it is not currently up to standards. The new structures will be designed and constructed to be 10 to 15 feet behind the existing structures in the direction of travel. Some excavation is required.
