following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:
Resolution #167-2026
WHEREAS, on January 17, 2017, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a Debt
Policy for the Village of Croton-on-Hudson; and
WHEREAS, while not required under New York State Law, this policy was in
furtherance of its goal for sound financial management of the Village; and
WHEREAS, since that time, the Village’s total outstanding debt has decreased by
more than $10 million; and
WHEREAS, the policy has been revised to align with this year’s capital plan
adopted by the Village Board and continue the Village’s program of making
infrastructure improvements,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby
approves the attached Debt Policy as revised.
