On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York with a - vote. Resolution #170-2026 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (WQIP) SALT STORAGE GRANT APPLICATION FOR SALT SHED CONSTRUCTION AT CROTON POINT PARK WHEREAS, to improve water quality and enhance flood and climate resiliency, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is looking to remove the existing salt shed at Veterans Plaza and build a new salt storage structure on a new site owned by Westchester County in Croton Point Park (“Project”); and WHEREAS the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is seeking funding under the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) WQIP grant; and WHEREAS, the cost estimate for the Project is $750,000; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson hereby authorizes the Village Manager to take all necessary action to submit an application for $600,000 in DEC’s Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) to design and construct the new salt storage structure upon the funding of said amount, commits to provide the match of $150,000.
