To: From: Date: April 20, 2026 Re: Donation of Art Installation I have been approached by Bruce Odland, a Village resident, regarding the donation of an art installation at Croton Landing. The “Harmonic Bridge” is currently on display at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MassMOCA) in North Adams, Massachusetts. The art absorbs the sounds from the highway and plays a harmonized sound back through the use of two cube speakers. These speakers have been installed in other areas of the country and world, including the World Financial Center in NYC, and various public spaces in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The Village’s Arts and Humanities Advisory Council has been discussing this gift with the artist and enthusiastically supports its installation at Croton Landing. In accordance with the Village’s adopted Gifts and Donations Policy, I referred this request to the Recreation Advisory Committee (RAC) for comment. The RAC reviewed at their meeting on April 13, 2026, and voted to support the installation in the park. A copy of the email from Debi Braddick, RAC Chair, is included herein. Mr. Odland has provided a budgetary estimate of approximately $3,600 for supplies needed to place the art installation at Croton Landing. Please let me know if you have any questions.
