, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote: Resolution #100-2026 WHEREAS, to improve stormwater drainage and reduce flooding, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is looking to address recurring tidal flooding and inadequate stormwater drainage conditions at the Croton-Harmon Train Station Parking Lot Section I (“the Project”); and WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson commits to working cooperatively with Westchester County and other municipalities within its watershed to reduce flooding, flood risk and flood damages; and WHEREAS the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is seeking funding under the “Westchester County Flood Mitigation Program”; and WHEREAS, the cost estimate for the Project is $270,720, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson hereby authorize the Village Manager to take all necessary action to submit an application for $135,360 in Westchester County Flood Mitigation Program to improve stormwater drainage and reduce flooding at the Croton-Harmon Train Station Parking Lot Section I, and, upon the funding of said amount, commits to provide the match of $135,360.
