following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-
on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote:
Resolution #101-2026
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is looking to make renovations to the
Harrison Street Playground to improve safety and accessibility without limiting
access to ensure the playground remains a widely used neighborhood resource (“the
Project”); and
WHEREAS the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is seeking funding under the “DASNY
New York Places for Learning, Activity, and Youth Socialization (NY PLAYS)”
grant program; and
WHEREAS, the cost estimate for the Project is $276,800,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Croton-on-Hudson hereby authorizes the Village Manager to take all necessary
action to submit an application for $221,440 in DASNY NY PLAYS to make
playground renovations at the Harrison Street Playground, and, upon the funding of
said amount, commits to provide the match of $55,360.
