Resolution #156-2026, dated July 1, 2026, concerns the Village Board's desire to update Village Code language on the keeping of domestic animals and farm animals on residential properties. It recites that, under the Board's direction, the Village Manager worked with the Village Attorney and Village Planner to develop language that would permit domestic animals as pets, allow farm animals under certain conditions and prohibit the keeping of roosters and pigeons, and that Local Law Introductory No. 10 of 2026 has been drafted for that purpose.
