On a motion by TRUSTEE SIMON, seconded by TRUSTEE NACHTALER, the Village Board voted 4-0 (TRUSTEE NICHOLSON was absent) to authorize the expenditure of $2,000 from the sustainability trust account to retain a consultant to review and identify potential locations on Village-owned land for the siting of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and further authorize the Village Manager to prepare and execute a contract with the chosen consultant.
