Resolution #162-2026, dated July 1, 2026, accepts an $11,534 proposal from Kofile to digitize Village permanent records currently on microfilm, some dating back to the Village's incorporation in 1898. , the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote: Resolution #162-2026 WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has many permanent records that date back to the Village’s incorporation in 1898; and WHEREAS, over the years, these records have been preserved through various media, including on microfilm; and WHEREAS, the machine which reads the microfilm has reached end-of-life and microfilm is no longer a preferred way to retain records due to its ability to degrade over time; and WHEREAS, Deputy Village Clerk Miguel Marra has been working with Kofile to develop a proposal to digitize the permanent records currently on microfilm; and WHEREAS, a proposal to undertake this work has been submitted at a cost of $11,534, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby authorized to accept the proposal from Kofile to digitize existing microfilm records at a cost of $11,534; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby authorizes the Village Treasurer to make the following budget transfer in the 2026-2027 General Fund budget: A1410.4000 Village Clerk – Contractual $11,534 Decrease A1990.4000 Contingency $11,534 Dated: July 1, 2026
