Opposition to year round ban of gas powered leaf blowers for the following reasons:
-Inadequate alternatives during peak fall season.
-Unfair burden of cost to change equipment for small and minority owned businesses.
-Unfair to residents to restrict choices when exemptions exist for the Village, School district,
Golf course and larger properties.
-If the Village and School district eventually convert to alternative equipment, there needs to
be community input and transparency as to where the funding will come from and not just
passed along to the taxpayers.
