Minutes of a June 9, 2026 special meeting at which Police Chief John Nikitopoulos and Detective Nicholas DiTomasso updated the Board on ongoing music complaints. The detective division determined the music was coming from the area around Haverstraw Beach State Park in Rockland County; a vehicle and its owner were identified, and Haverstraw Police Department officers spoke with him and advised him to stop. Village Manager Healy said the information would be shared through the Village website and social media, and the Board then voted 4-0 to enter executive session on a personnel matter, adjourning the meeting at 6:09 pm.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room at the Stanley Trustee Nachtaler The following official was absent: Mayor Pugh called the meeting to order at 6:01pm, and led those present in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Chief of Police John Nikitopoulos and Detective Nicholas DiTomasso provided an update to the Board of Trustees on the ongoing music complaints. Based on information received following the last incident on Saturday morning, the detective division determined that the music was coming from the area around Haverstraw Beach State Park in Rockland County. A vehicle and its owner were identified and officers from the Haverstraw Police Department spoke with him and advised him to stop. Chief Nikitopoulos advised that the department would be ready to respond to any complaints in the future and will work with their partners in Rockland County as needed. Members of the Village Board thanked the police department for their work in finding the source of the music. Trustee Nicholson asked if this information could be shared with the community. Village Manager Healy stated that it would be shared through the Village website and social media. A motion to close the special meeting and enter into executive session to discuss matters of personnel involving a specific individual was made by Trustee Simon. The motion was seconded by Trustee Nicholson and approved with a 4-0 vote. The meeting was adjourned at 6:09pm. Respectfully Submitted,
