To: From: Date: June 4, 2024 Re: Summer Shuttle Schedule As the Board is aware, the Village has been running the shuttle bus in coordination with different events that occurred this spring (CrotonCon, Big Easy on Hudson, Earth Day). There has been interest in continuing to offer the shuttle during the summer. Funds have been allocated in the 2024-2025 General Fund Budget to pay for the shuttle for a certain period of time. As mentioned during the budget work sessions, there are enough funds to have the shuttle run weekly on Fridays for a six-month period, or on Fridays and Saturdays for a three-month period. Based on conversations I have had with members of the staff and individual Board members, I would recommend that the shuttle be run weekly on Fridays to couple with the summer concert series at Senasqua Park. As attendees of the concert series know, parking can get limited near Senasqua Park on Friday evenings. Allowing Village residents the opportunity to use the shuttle would help to limit that issue. It would also condition residents into using the shuttle for other short-length trips in the Village. As of now, the shuttle would be set to operate between 5 and 11 p.m. on Fridays. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the above. Thank you. Mayor Brian Pugh Trustees Nora Moriarty Nicholson Ian Murtaugh Cara Politi Len Simon Village Manager Bryan T.
