A Work Session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY was held on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 8:04 PM in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Village Manager Healy Trustee Horowitz Emily Giovanni, Assistant to the Village Manager Trustee Simon Trustee Nicholson Trustee Gallelli The following items were discussed at the work session: • Discussion regarding future recreational uses and opportunities at Gouveia Park. • Review of a proposal to use the Village bus for local transit. • Discussion on the regulation of vacant or neglected buildings. • Discussion on updates to the Village Website. On a motion by TRUSTEE Gallelli, seconded by TRUSTEE Simon, the Village Board referred the Gouveia Park narrative to the Recreation Department, Recreation Advisory Committee and the Department of Public Works for review and recommendation, with a 5-0 vote. On a motion by TRUSTEE Nicholson, seconded by TRUSTEE Horowitz, the Village Board referred the proposal to expand Recreation programming using the Village bus to the Recreation Advisory Committee for review, with a 5-0 vote.
