Chicha Fest Update
On September 8, 2023, the Village received a check in the amount of $2,936.74 in relation to the
additional expenses incurred by the Village for the festival. The Village has now been made whole
for the overtime costs related to this event.
Additionally, the amount included a $250 fine for violations of Chapter 168, Parks & Recreation
Areas, of the Village Code; specifically, violation of the prohibition against charging admission fees
to a park or recreation area.
