On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: -. Resolution #202-2023 WHEREAS, the Village Board is committed to promoting openness, inclusion, freedom and mutual understanding by ensuring all people, regardless of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or immigration status may live free from violence, harassment or prejudice; and WHEREAS, the Village Board is further committed to supporting the visibility, dignity, and equality for all people in the community, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Statement of Inclusivity of September 26, 2023 is approved and adopted in order to foster and advance the goals of making the Village of Croton-on-Hudson a just, equitable, diverse and inclusive community. Statement of Inclusivity September 26, 2023 The Village Board is committed to promoting openness, inclusion, freedom and mutual understanding by ensuring all people, regardless of national origin, immigration status, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, or political viewpoint may live free from violence, harassment or prejudice. We as a Village Board condemn any acts of unlawful discrimination, violence and intimidation that target differences in national origin, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, immigration status, or political viewpoint across our nation. Such acts run counter to the rights and freedoms upon which our country was founded and to the core values of the Village of Croton-on- Hudson.
