Subject: Surplus Equipment
Bryan,
In August of this year, the Department of Public Works listed another 6 vehicles and/or pieces of
equipment for aucƟon. On September 6th, 2023 all bids were closed and the total amount bid for all
items was $47,375.00.
I would like to request these funds be transferred into our 2023/2024 Capital Equipment account. As
explained in earlier requests, using this money to fund newer vehicles and equipment will help with our
fleet maintenance program by reducing the amount of money requested int the future, and allowing us
to make mid-fiscal year purchases (rather than waiƟng for next year).
If you and the Village Board are agreeable, these funds should be transferred to Capital Account
H5110.2010.24467. Please let me know if you need any addiƟonal informaƟon.
