On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on- Hudson, New York: WHEREAS, the bases of the light poles in the Upper Village have corroded over the years, and WHEREAS, it has been determined the light poles need to be replaced; and WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Public Works has received a proposal from the Pennsylvania Globe Gaslight Company of North Branford, Connecticut in the amount of $37,286.35 for material to refurbish 28 light poles in the Upper Village and 5 light poles in Dobbs Park and that such upgrades will include installation of more energy efficiency fixtures to lower operating costs, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees authorizes the Village Manager to sign the proposal from Pennsylvania Globe Gaslight Company of North Branford, Connecticut to refurbish 28 light poles in the Upper Village and 5 light poles in Dobbs Park in the amount of $37,286.35; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that this amount should be charged to account A5182.2000 Dated: March 5, 2012
