On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-
on-Hudson, New York:
WHEREAS, several residential property owners and or their representatives have
filed a small claim assessment review with the State Supreme Court seeking an
assessment reduction; and
WHEREAS, the attached memo provided by the Village Assessor, Joseph Sperber
states the properties that have been granted an assessment reduction and should
receive a tax refund providing their taxes are paid in full; and
WHEREAS, the tax refunds were calculated using the current tax rate of $237.182
per $1,000 of assessed value,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees
authorizes the Village Treasurer to issue tax refunds to the property owners as
outlined in the attached memo from the Village Assessor,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the total amount of the refund as outlined
in the attached memo is $13182.58
