Due to the extenuating circumstances that are described in the attached letter, the property owner John Velez was unable to complete the work under this building permit by the expiration date of June 24, 2011. I would have no objection to the Village Board’s granting Mr. Velez a six-month extension from June 24, 2011 to December 24, 2011.
