On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #17-2022 WHEREAS, the Village would like to amend the code of the Village of Croton-on- Hudson to reflect the abolishment of the position of Village Justice effective January 1, 2023 and the consolidation of the Village Justice Court with the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court; and WHEREAS, the Village Board is considering the adoption of Local Law Introductory No. 3 of 2022 which has been drafted to reflect such language; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on Local Law Introductory No. 3 of 2022 was opened and closed on February 28, 2022, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby adopts Local Law Introductory No. 3 of 2022 to amend the code of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson to reflect the abolishment of the position of Village Justice effective January 1, 2023 and the consolidation of the Village Justice Court with the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court, which upon adoption becomes Local Law No. 3 of 2022, subject to permissive referendum.
