Subject: Croton Little League Parade and Picture Day Requests
***CAUTION: External sender.***
Mr. Healy,
Croton Little League is planning on holding our traditional opening day ceremonies on Saturday 4/9/22 starting at 9 am. Our
traditional parade starts in the high school parking lot, the kids then proceed down Old Post South to Grand Street then we go
right down Grand Street and enter Dobbs Park. We are asking for assistance from the police dept to direct traffic and/or
temporarily close roads to allow the kids to safely make it to Dobbs. I would imagine that we can get all the kids from the High
School to Dobbs in under an hour. We also will have a fire truck leading the way. Please let me know if this is approved and we
are good to move forward with the planning.
Croton Little League is also requesting to use a section of the Croton Harmon train station parking lot for our picture day on
5/7/22 from 9am - 4 pm. We did this for the first time last year and it worked really well. We will provide the parents a
scheduled time for their kids to get their pictures taken and they can get in and out safely and quickly. I have attached an image
showing where we would like to set up for the pictures. We shouldn't need any assistance except for taping off the section the
night before so no cars will be parked there. Please let me know if this request is approved so we can move forward with the
planning.
I thank you and the Village Board for the time to review our requests.
