On motion of TRUSTEE ________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #18-2022 WHEREAS, the Village currently has two open positions in the Police Department; and WHEREAS, Police Chief John H. Nikitopoulos has conducted an extensive background check of Terance J. Yant and recommends the hiring of Mr. Yant for the position of Police Officer; and WHEREAS, Mr. Yant attended the Ulster County Police Academy where he successfully completed the Basic Course for Police Officers, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that Terance J. Yant is hereby appointed as a Police Officer in the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department at the salary of $67,071.33 pending approval from Westchester County Department of Human Resources in accordance with all rules and regulations.
